SHOUT BOX
Surely 'sunscription' is a seasonal subscription, a 'dry-weather supporter' as football fans term less avid followers of a team.
any idea when the new, in new djs we trust sets will be up?
Hit and run eh Michael? Isn't a 'sunscription' a holiday somewhere hot?

@Cavin. Thanks dude, good to get some feedback! I don't do many mixes these days, but will be doing another one soon. :)

this should be a good mix, been a while since iv'e downloaded a carl cox set and moby is a bonus as well
thanks alot
house music all night long
Poor sound quality
Anyone else notice this, theres an echoy swirl in the background that seriously got to me. In the end it was all i could hear and ruined this EM. Moby's set was amazing but seems to get worse and worse each time i listen to it (not a result of sound quality), likwise Cox could have been better, just like his 2007 mix that was pretty different from what he plays in the clubs.
Blah
Neither set was particularly interesting, with too much prog by Cox, in particular. I agree with the other commenter about Moby's set - a little behind the times on the music, and not terribly coherent as a mix.
Moby's set is interesting,
Moby's set is interesting, if only to hear what this cat's presently into re: electronic sound & to check out some quasi-remix/sampling action (methinks software & not 1200s are the instruments of choice). Slightly behind the ball is the old Moby-ster, one might say, given that his sound in this Miami sampling is hardly tres nouvelle. It's a bit electro-prog shallow, were one to be honest w/oneself.
If you like this sort of thing, Cox's 60 mins is solid...bit of tekno, bit of gnarly prog, & bit of deep & sufficiently dark house-aroni tossed in for flavour.
gotta say i really liked
gotta say i really liked Moby's set. There are some old tracks in there but i still thought it sounded quite fresh. Would have been a great set to have been there listening to live (in the warm sunny weather). He doesn't DJ that often so maybe he doesn't think there's much economic sense in buying new records ! Not got on to the Cox set yet.
refreshing
I've got to say I thought Moby's set was refreshing. It was high energy, had some nice mash ups of his classic tracks and some classic techno tracks from back in the day. I don't get all this talk about Moby not being up with the times with his track selection....what does that even mean these days?
Compaired to the dull, drab Cox set that bored me to tears, I'd take Moby's set any day!
